As an archaeologist who often finds himself exploring the wonders of the world, my recent stay at Casa de Lis Hotel & Tourist Info Centre in Turrialba was a delightful blend of comfort and cultural immersion. Nestled within a landscape teeming with biodiversity, the hotel offers clean and inviting rooms, complete with charming balconies that overlook lush gardens-a perfect spot to unwind after a day of discovery. I especially appreciated the friendly and dedicated staff who arranged excursions exploring the local archaeological treasures, including the nearby Monumento Nacional Guayabo. It was a treat to share breakfast with my colleagues on the gorgeous terrace, where we delighted in the local Turrialba cheese while surrounded by breathtaking views. The communal kitchen and vibrant atmosphere made it easy to engage with fellow travelers, immersing ourselves in the rich culture that Costa Rica has to offer. Casa de Lis exceeded my expectations, and I would return in an instant for another adventure.
